I suspect that some of you, dear friends, have already invented a way to quickly assess the correctness of the calculation. The simplest thing is to take 2 large dates, multiples of 10 (or more). For example, January 1, 1000, and January 1, 2000. The difference between them will be 1,000 years or 12,000 months. And how many days? A little trick question.
We know that there are 365 days in a year. Every fourth year is a leap year. Thus, the average number of days in a year is 365.25. For 1000 years, the number of 365,250 will “come over,” while the calculator will show 365,242. Error? Not really.
An additional rule for defining such a year is that it should be a multiple of 400 but not a multiple of 100. For example, 900 or 1000 are not leap years, since they are not divisible by 400. And 800 and 1200 are leap years, like 804 years (multiple four).
Total, from 1000 to 2000 were not leap years: 1000, 1100, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1700, 1800, 1900. Only 8 pieces, from where we get: 365 250 - 8 = 365 242 days contained in one thousand years between dates 1000 -01-01 and 2000-01-01.
Only full values of intervals are calculated: whole years, months, weeks. Day - the minimum value.
If the dates are the same, zeros are displayed. If you enter an incorrect date, a notification appears.
